We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Officer to join our People Team and ensure our employees are paid accurately and on time.

Role Overview: As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, company policies, and award conditions. You will play a key role in supporting both our finance and HR functions with accurate and timely payroll services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly/fortnightly/monthly payroll for circa 1100 employees
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, superannuation, and employment laws
  • Maintain and update payroll systems and employee records
  • Prepare payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage leave entitlements, deductions, and terminations
  • Respond to payroll-related queries from employees in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaise with finance and HR to ensure payroll accuracy and efficiency
