Singh & Jones are working with an established organisation based in London, who have developed into a well-regarded Facade Contractor. A family-run company, my client has been operational for well over 30 years. With continual growth and project awards, my client is keen to expand their operational team by recruiting an experienced Curtain Wall and Glazing Project Manager who can oversee a number of projects.
The role will be reporting into the Construction Director and the duties will include:
- Managing and delivering several projects at any one time, ranging from £8m in value.
- Leading a team of Site Managers, Supervisors, and Installers to meet client objectives and time frames on each project phase, in order to complete projects.
- Implementing full health & safety regulations and responsibly producing the correct RAMS write-ups for each project.
- Delegating with the commercial team, including design and estimating on design, procurement, manufacturing, and site set up.
- Liaising with design on any site variations.
- In charge of full profit and loss on each project and being able to produce weekly and monthly reports for the board.
- Responsible for material costs and liaising with the logistics team for timely site deliveries.
- Recruiting a team of installers and site managers.
- Working closely with the Site Managers and Finance to sign off weekly subcontractor time sheets.
- Working on projects across the UK.
The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of the facade industry and have full envelope experience. As a Project Manager, you will be strong on health and safety, hold a valid SMSTS Card, CSCS Supervisors card, and be qualified to deliver high-end projects. The role will require travel and staying away due to the far reach of projects, so the ideal candidate must be flexible in regards to this.
