On behalf of our client, ITS Construction Professionals South are recruiting for a Foreman/ Working Foreman to join a reputable contracting company based in Portsmouth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and managing construction projects.
  • Leading a team of tradespeople to ensure high quality project delivery.
  • Working on site, combining supervision with hands on work.
  • Helping with direct deliveries, cleaning and maintaining the site, closing and opening the site.
  • Ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain smooth project operations.
  • Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed on site.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Proven experience as a Foreman, Working Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety procedures and relevant regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisation skills.
  • Hands-on experience with construction tools and equipment.
  • Relevant certifications - SSSTS, CSCS, First Aid.
  • Ability to problem solve and manage multiple tasks.
