We’re working with a well-established signage company based in Leeds, known for delivering high-quality signage solutions across retail, commercial, and events sectors. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to bring on a Sign Fitter’s Mate to support their experienced installation team.
About the Role: This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in joinery, carpentry, or construction who’s interested in building a career in signage. You’ll work alongside seasoned fitters on a variety of projects, learning the ropes and getting stuck in on site installs.
Previous experience in signage is a big plus, but full training will be given to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting senior fitters with signage installations at various sites across the UK
- Helping to assemble and install totems, built-up letters, vinyl graphics, LED signage and more
- Using hand and power tools effectively and safely
- Loading/unloading materials and prepping jobs
- Supporting safe working practices, including working at height (training provided)
What You’ll Need:
- Valid CSCS card – essential
- Full UK driving licence – essential
- Experience in joinery, carpentry, or similar hands-on trade
- Comfortable using tools and working in a site environment
- Positive attitude, team player, and willing to learn
- Signage experience is highly desirable
- IPAF and PASMA certifications are also beneficial, but not essential
