The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.

This is an on-site role based at Portsmouth, Stevenage, and Newport. Travel between the sites will be required. You will ideally have had previous experience as a communication Engineer.

Your role:

  • Resolve Level 2 and 3 Telephony / Videoconferencing Oriented Incidents.
  • Respond to specific hardware or application requests.
  • Participate in Telephony / Videoconferencing Projects.
  • Assist the operations teams on an ad hoc basis.
  • Ensure the MCO of the Telephony and Videoconferencing infrastructure.
  • Management of local team and sharing of skills.

Your skills and experience:

  • Advanced knowledge of Cisco TOIP (CUCM, Unity Connection, Jabber, IPPhone, Cisco SBS, VG2xx.), Webex, and Cisco video conferencing (endpoints, TMS, Pexip ...).
  • Knowledge of VMware Suite and vSan.
  • Storage Knowledge of Kurmi, Telsica, PeterConnects ecosystems.
  • Good knowledge of SIP/H323 protocols and WAN/LAN and security as well as system administration and PC environment would be a plus.
  • Team Management/ People Skills.

Your security clearance:

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
