Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting for an entry level Accounts Assistant position to fill a newly created role within the business. This role provides a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain their first step into a career in finance. Our client would be open to providing AAT study support for candidates wishing to enhance their knowledge., The Accounts Assistant will work closely with the wider finance team to assist them in day to day accounting duties. This position will be a Hybrid position 3/2 split after the initial 3 month period
Duties will include:

Administration of the Purchase Ledger Email inbox and incoming post.

Providing assistance to the accounts managers with daily/weekly/monthly administrative tasks/duties.

Processing, tracking, and logging invoices

Performing bank reconciliations
-
Ad-hoc administrative office duties when required

Handling a variety of supplier queries via phone/email
-
Additional duties may include reviewing expenditure and undertaking property journals on the system, performing account reconciliations and initial budget preparation.
