The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.

Your role as an Environmental Tax Manager:

  • Work on specialist contentious tax matters providing regular client advice & analysis.
  • Broad practice across the whole range of contentious matters within the Environmental Tax space such as Landfill tax, Climate change levy, Emission fraud/levy, Carbon levy & Plastic Bag Tax/levy.
  • Get involved in business development initiatives.
  • Handle tax disputes and investigations for a variety of clients with close liaison with HMRC.

This opportunity to work cross-functionally with an established Disputes team and a large Indirect tax team is perfect for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual who:

  • Has c. 2-4 years tax experience.
  • Has a strong academic background.
  • Can have prior working experience from energy/construction/environmental/distribution backgrounds.
  • Or has prior Tax Litigation experience from a top city firm in the UK.
  • Or has been working within an Indirect Taxes team and has a passion for the Environmental Taxes side.

Ideally, you will be a technically minded candidate with an inquisitive mindset who enjoys problem-solving.
