As a Principle Systems Engineer, you will join our team in Crawley to support our activities within the defence sector. In this role, you'll work on critical projects related to military systems, naval platforms, and secure communication systems. You'll be part of a team that plays a vital role in ensuring the performance and reliability of systems used in some of the most demanding environments. Your main responsibilities will be:

Qualifications Experience, skills and qualifications required:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in complex systems engineering, with a focus on hardware/software integration or systems architecture.
  • Demonstrated exposure (minimum of 3 years) to working in the defence or maritime industries.
  • Experience in aerospace or land defence is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle, with experience in the right-hand side of the V-model (integration, verification, validation).
  • Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, providing clear guidance and technical leadership.
  • Experience working within security clearance environments, or the ability to obtain clearance.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering tools and software for systems analysis, design, and simulation.
