Petrofac Instrument Engineer Contractor Role
Petrofac is seeking an Instrument Engineer Contractor for a 12-month contract based in Aberdeen, UK.
The role is outside IR35, and we invite Limited Companies to engage.
The scope of services will be reviewed should there be a significant change to client support requirements.
Scope of Services:
- Provide engineering input to estimates for project work scopes
- Participate in progress and planning meetings
- Provide technical expertise for equipment modifications or procurement, including:
- DCS, ESD F&G, and Metering system modifications
- Field Instrumentation (Pressure, Level, Temperature, Flow, Specialist Measurements)
- Valves
- SIL, High Integrity Systems (HIPPS)
- Measurement and Metering
- Industrial Networking and Communications
Deliverables:
- Control system philosophy and Software scopes of Work
- Specifications
- Vendor Statement of Requirements
- Survey Reports
- PEPs
- Instrument and I/O Schedules
- Instrument/Equip/JB/IO/Alarm Schedule
- Label Schedules
- Calculations (Orifice Plate, Valve, IS, Cable, etc.)
- Equipment Data Sheets
- Requisitions (including SDRL)
- SIL Assessment
- Spares/Equipment List
- Weight control sheets
- MELS and MDRS
- Workpack input

- Block Diagrams or Single Line Diagrams
- Cause & Effect Diagrams
- Instrument Cable Block Diagram
- Cable Tray Routing & Layout Diagrams
