Our Client, Blackburn with Darwen Council, is seeking an Adults Social Worker to join their Team. Fantastic payrate of £39 per hour!

Responsibilities of this role:
- Working with adults who are diagnosed with mental health conditions in secondary mental health care, including: dementia, psychosis, anxiety and depression.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary Community Mental Health Team alongside health and AHP colleagues.
- Knowledge and experience of implementing the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act is essential.
- Work directly with service users and their carers using a range of knowledge, skills and interventions as required, developing an individualised approach to the practical and functional needs of the service users.
- Recognise various mental health problems and undertake or participate in holistic needs based assessments, produce a care plan, implement and review the plan, including the management of risk.
- Work at the service works within the Care Program Approach and sound risk management skills are necessary.
Requirements of this role:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent).
- Must have minimum of 3 years experience working as a Qualified social worker.
- Must be qualified as an AMHP.
