Job Description
- Match clients to available temporary accommodation through thorough suitability checks
- Carry out sign-ups and set up rent accounts to support income collection
- Ensure accommodation meets health and safety standards through site visits and documentation reviews
- Maintain accurate records on landlords, units, and placements
- Respond to complaints and tenancy issues, escalating when required
- Coordinate movements and voids to reduce vacant property time
- Liaise with internal teams to facilitate smooth transitions to permanent housing
THE CANDIDATEThe ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar role within a housing or local authority setting, particularly with temporary accommodation.
- Strong knowledge of housing legislation and statutory duties
- Experience in client placement and tenancy sign-up processes
- Confident managing rent accounts and ensuring income collection
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations and resolve tenant or landlord issues effectively
THE CONTRACTTemporary – 3 monthsThe pay range for the role is £20.00 to £24.00 per hour LTD company rate.
