What You’ll Do:
- Fix issues thoroughly within agreed response times.
- Flag problems that can’t be repaired and suggest solutions.
- Complete scheduled maintenance on time and fill in accurate reports.
- Keep your compliance and technical logs updated.
- Take your turn on the on-call rota - and let your manager know if you need cover.
What You’ll Need:
Must-Have Skills:
- NVQ or City & Guilds in Refrigeration
- C&G 2079 (or similar CITB certificate)
- Experience with refrigeration, electrical systems, air con, and mechanics
Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Great to Have):
- BS7671 (16th or 17th Edition)
- Supermarket/commercial experience
- Machine overhaul knowledge
- Hydrocarbon and CO2 refrigerant training
