We’re looking for an Oracle Fusion Reports Developer to join us in Bradford. This role will be part of an existing support and delivery team based in Bradford and Reading. You will be working on large scale projects providing reporting solutions for various entities that are part of the Liberty Global group. You will also take the lead on small works deliverables, provide 3rd line support for global Oracle Fusion platforms, as well as peripheral systems.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience specifically within Oracle Fusion HCM/Payroll OTBI and BI Publisher Reporting and Oracle Analytics Cloud. We are looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Oracle Fusion Reporting Subject Matter Expert with specialist knowledge in all reporting components related to Oracle Fusion ERP. You will have business process expertise and the ability to lead and deliver application changes and delivery of new functionality to meet business requirements. You will also work independently on project based workload and report back to Senior Reporting Technology.
What will you be doing?
- Develop and maintain HCM/Payroll reports ensuring the alignment of application with business and project requirements.
- Resolve small to medium issues and develop technical solutions working with Functional SMEs.
- Take ownership of the technical delivery of smaller scale Non Project Requirements.
- Ensure the solution designed and developed are within the guidelines for Oracle Support.
- Monitor and identify problems in Oracle cloud reporting solution system every day.
- Provide routine production support through technical solutions.
- Actively promote suggestions to automate proactive or regular monitoring activities.
- Ability to work largely independently and proactively on a fast paced and busy workload.
- Share Oracle knowledge within the team, supporting colleagues as needed.
We tend to look for people with:
- A background/experience with Oracle ERP, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Ability to build custom formulas, sophisticated reports, and dashboards within OTBI.
- Strong functional knowledge in Oracle HCM/Payroll.
- Hands on experience in developing OBIEE & BI Publisher Reports.
- Solid experience in crafting Oracle BI Publisher reports, data models, Datasets and RTF templates and crafting interactive reports.
- Excellent ability to do SQL query performance tuning.
- Experience in deploying reports to the higher environments, maintaining and configuring the BI Publisher application.
- Must have experience with scheduling report jobs and bursting BIP reports to end users.
- Oracle OTBI Reporting Specialist with experience of the Oracle BI Tools used within the Oracle Cloud Apps environment.
- Experience in ODI 12c.
- ODI Load plan generation and debugging.
- Experience in RPD modelling.
- Design and development of Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence Applications and Fusion Analytics Warehouse.
- Experience in Business Objects Reporting.
