Our client, an established company based in the West End, is looking for a Group Consol Manager, reporting to the Finance Director, and responsible for the Group reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.

An experienced Chartered Accountant, you will be responsible for the management of financial systems - monthly and annual consolidation process for the hospitality groups to ensure key information is provided to internal and external stakeholders; manage the annual audit for the group which will include preparation of statutory accounts and dealing with group auditors; the day-to-day accounting and audit of Parent/Holding Company and preparing briefing papers on commercial and accounting issues; maintain various group related deliverables - acquisitions, disposals, consolidation, fair valuation and cash flow etc., and any other ad hoc work in line with consolidation and leading the implementation and ongoing maintenance of new accounting systems.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 4/5 years qualified ACA or ACCA.
  • Experience with global, multi-currency consolidations in line with UK GAAP/IFRS where you have been delivering group monthly, quarterly and annual management and statutory financial reporting and external audit process.
  • Technical proficiency in UK GAAP (FRS 102).
  • Experienced Chartered Accountant and of managing relationships and working closely with other accounting departments.
  • Strong Excel Skills and a self-starter with ability to work on own initiative and get the job done.
  • Competent communicator of financial information to non-finance persons.
