Overview
If you are an experienced Solderer looking to work in a high-tech and advanced technology business, this could be the role for you. Assembling state of the art, complex, high value electronics - you will be working to the highest standards, working to a right first time ethos at all times. This is a busy time for our client, so overtime should be available.
Solderer Requirements:
- Must have experience of PCB Assembling & Soldering within a high-end production environment
- Ideally you will be certified to a minimum of IPC-610 or J-Std standard, or have good working experience to this standard
- Proven experience of all aspects of box build manufacturing processes
- Have good attention to detail to maintain or exceed high levels of production standards
- Must have experience of working in a high technology environment
Solderer Responsibilities:
- Working in a small team of specialised assembly technicians assembling complex, high value, electronic products in small/medium volumes.
- Daily PCB work, consisting of component placement, soldering, rework and testing
- Perform/prepare build, test or inspection activities before and during product manufacturing
- Proven ability to understand and follow technical drawings
- Support inspection of electronics assembly
- Contribute to the process of continuous improvements to achieving zero defects in accordance with ISO9001
