A prestigious national law firm with its head office in Sheffield is seeking an ambitious and commercially-minded Senior Employment Partner to join its high-performing team. This opportunity offers partnership from day one, with a proven pathway to equity within two years.
This is a well-established, forward-thinking national law firm known for its high-calibre work, collaborative culture and impressive growth trajectory. With a strong footprint across the UK, the firm is now strategically expanding its Employment Law capability at a senior level from its Sheffield base.
You will play a key role in leading the development of the Employment practice, handling a varied caseload of both claimant and respondent work, advising a broad client base across the private and public sectors. The successful candidate will bring expertise, drive, and the commercial acumen to grow and shape the offering at both a regional and national level.
Key Responsibilities:- Advise on the full spectrum of employment law issues (contentious and non-contentious)
- Represent clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings and complex litigation
- Support business development and lead client relationship initiatives
- Mentor junior solicitors and support team leadership
- Contribute to strategic planning and long-term departmental growth
- Qualified Solicitor (8+ PQE) with a strong background in Employment Law
- Proven track record in both claimant and respondent work
- Experience in managing client relationships at a senior level
- A strong business development mindset and desire to build a team
- Ideally with existing following or strong referral network (not essential)
- Partnership from day one
- Genuine equity pathway within 2 years
- Competitive salary: £80,000 - £150,000 (DOE)
- OTE earnings in excess of £200k
