Rapier Employment are looking for Class 1 drivers to support our well-known client based in Swindon on an ongoing basis.

Position: Class 1 Driver

Hours: Starts between 12:00 - 18:00 so some flexibility required

Pay rate: £17.06 - £21.32 per hour

Shift patterns: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday with potential for extra shifts

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Transporting goods between various locations efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Deliveries from Swindon will be across the South coast of England up to the Midlands.
  • PM drivers will mostly cover trunking, but some store overflow deliveries may be required.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure road worthiness and report any maintenance or mechanical issues.
  • Always provide exceptional customer service.

  • Full UK Licence (Cat C+E)
  • CPC Card
  • Digi Card
  • Held licence for 12 months (category C+E)
