The role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive data product strategy that aligns with SoftwareOne's business goals. Responsibilities include:
- Building and managing a delivery roadmap for data and analytics initiatives, ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Bringing contributors together around product strategy and ensuring consistent and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Supervising multiple workstreams and handling conflicting priorities to ensure all projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Defining and tracking critical metrics to measure the impact and success of data products.
- Using data-driven insights to continuously improve product performance.
- Staying up to date with emerging trends and technologies in data to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
This is a new role within the Data team, requiring someone enthusiastic about bringing this position to life, crafting processes, building partnerships and trust, and performing efficiently. Strong experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A proven track record in Program/Product Management of digital products, such as software solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Governance, Data Management, or an equivalent.
- Solid understanding of project management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solution-focused mentality.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to engage with both technical and executive collaborators.
- A high level of self-motivation, goal orientation, and the ability to work independently and take ownership.
