We are looking for a Civils Site Manager to join our Clients Water team, delivering civil construction works for a new pumping station and pipeline project.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the safe and efficient delivery of pipeline, substations, power and cabling, and pipeline testing, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives and align with the aspirations of the Project Manager.
- Working closely with the Commercial Team to manage subcontractors, prepare financial forecasts, and maintain accurate records for the Health & Safety file.
- Leading weekly site progress meetings, ensuring tasks are completed on time and maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
This role is ideal for you if:
- You have a degree in Engineering or a related field, are chartered or working towards it, and hold relevant certifications such as SMSTS, CITB Temporary Works, CSCS Appointed Person, and IOSH/NEBOSH.
- You have a strong track record in managing civil works contracts.
- You possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience managing subcontractors and direct labour in a multi-trade environment.
