We are looking for a PMO Analyst to join a high-performing Portfolio Support team with a leading Global Investment Bank, based in London. This role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of strategic change delivery across an international portfolio. You’ll act as a key interface between Portfolio and Central PMO teams, ensuring the smooth delivery of projects within a strong governance and control framework across the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Portfolio Lead and Project Managers with planning, monitoring, and governance across a portfolio of change initiatives.
- Produce and maintain portfolio-level reports, dashboards, RAID logs, and monthly reporting packs using tools like Planview and Power BI.
- Manage project financials including budget tracking, forecasting, and firedrill responses across multiple funding sources.
- Own document control and assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet lifecycle standards and policy requirements.
- Coordinate milestone and critical path planning, resource tracking, and change control activities.
- Drive benefit tracking and support audit and compliance readiness across the portfolio.
- Track actions, produce high-quality meeting minutes, and prepare MI for executive stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives led by the Central PMO team to enhance reporting, tooling, and governance processes.
Skills & Experience:
- 3-5 years PMO or Portfolio Support experience in a regulated environment.
- Proficient in Excel, Power BI, Planview, and Oracle Financials (or similar).
- Solid understanding of project lifecycle frameworks (Waterfall essential).
- Skilled in project reporting, financial tracking, and stakeholder management.
- Project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMI) is desirable.
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2 Foundation, APM, PMI) preferred.
