Development & Community Specialist

Taylor Hopkinson are proud to bring to market a unique opportunity for a junior renewables developer to be part of an exciting and key player in the UK renewables space, developing projects and applying excellent communication skills and interests to maintain strong relationships with local communities.

Responsibilities

1. Originate opportunities for projects (originating greenfield projects, acquisition and co-development)
2. Ensure planning agreements are in place
3. Gain support of local residents and authorities
4. Constantly ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to
5. Manage external consultants
6. Ensure local stakeholder mapping and databases are maintained
7. Develop and maintain engagement strategies and plans
8. Act as main point of contact between client and communities throughout the entire life-cycle of projects
9. Develop and maintain relevant documentation and records of community activities

Requirements

1. Experienced with UK onshore renewable project development environmental and regulatory challenges
2. An up-to-date network of contacts in the industry
3. Experienced user of MS Office Suite
