Senior Litigation Associate | British Virgin Islands

A highly respected offshore law firm is seeking to appoint a Senior Associate to its expanding litigation practice in the British Virgin Islands. This is a strategic hire, intended to bolster the firm’s capabilities across complex cross-border disputes, with a particular emphasis on contentious insolvency, asset recovery, and high-value commercial litigation.

Applicants must be qualified in the BVI or England & Wales, with at least five years’ post-qualification experience . A proven track record in contentious insolvency and restructuring, alongside broader commercial litigation expertise, is essential. Prior offshore experience is advantageous but not a prerequisite.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:

• Lead complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes with minimal supervision
• Advise on high-value litigation and insolvency matters in a client-facing role
• Draft and manage core court documents, including pleadings, applications, and witness evidence
• Supervise junior lawyers and actively contribute to team development
• Liaise confidently with clients, counsel, and external advisors
