Role Overview
A Conference and Banquet Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising conference and banqueting operations to deliver an excellent guest and member experience while supporting department targets.
What will I be doing?
- Supervising conference and banqueting operations
- Communicating and delegating tasks according to daily function sheets
- Working across all areas including Bar, Restaurant, and Room Service
- Welcoming guests politely and professionally
- Following cash handling procedures
- Managing guest queries efficiently
- Ensuring cleanliness of work areas
- Planning, organizing, and controlling daily operations
- Ensuring compliance with brand standards
- Representing team needs
- Supporting Food and Beverage in achieving financial goals
- Assisting with team training and development
- Participating in performance appraisals
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in conference and banqueting
- Strong customer service orientation
- Flexibility to adapt to different work situations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred qualifications and skills:
- Experience in the hotel industry
- Supervisory and delegation skills
- Willingness to develop team members and oneself
