Telemetry Engineer Wiltshire Experience Dependent Company Vehicle Join the team team as a Telemetry Engineer and take charge of maintaining, testing, and repairing a fleet of telemetry and data logging equipment across the UK. This role will see you traveling to various customer sites, providing hands-on support and ensuring the reliable operation of our systems. You’ll have flexibility in managing travel schedules, typically working away two nights per week. Key Responsibilities – Telemetry Engineer Conduct tests and troubleshoot signals on telemetry and data logging equipment. Record and analyze test results, making necessary adjustments to software and configurations. Respond to and resolve equipment breakdowns swiftly to minimize downtime. Plan and manage your own schedule to meet objectives while coordinating with team support when needed. Maintain compliance with safety standards, especially when working on electrical equipment. Qualifications & Experience – Telemetry Engineer Knowledge of Telemetry and Instrumentation: Understanding of control and automation products, with hands-on experience in testing and repairing. Electrical Qualifications: Required for opening control panels and handling electrical equipment. Computer Literacy: Proficiency in recording results and updating software configurations. Self-Starter: Able to organize daily schedules and work independently with minimal supervision. Travel Flexibility: Comfortable with regular travel and overnight stays (2 nights weekly on average). Full UK Driving Licence: Required for the role; a company van is provided. Prior site experience or understanding of site-specific challenges. Familiarity with safety protocols for electrical equipment.
