Senior Fire & Security Service Engineer - London & South East – up to £52,000 per annum
You will be responsible for carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, commissioning and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the contract requirements on Fire & Security Systems located in London & M25.
Package & Working Hours:
- Up to £52,000 Salary DOE
- Monday to Friday 08:00 am – 17:00 pm
- 25 days holiday plus bank (33 days in total)
- Birthdays off - (If falls on a week day)

Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Maintenance: maintain, and service fire alarm systems, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
- Fault Diagnosis & Repairs: Identify and rectify faults efficiently to ensure system functionality and compliance.
- Compliance & Regulations: Ensure all systems comply with current fire and security legislation and industry best practices.
- Testing & Inspection: Conduct regular system testing and inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work completed, including reports on system performance and any required corrective actions.
- Emergency Response: Provide emergency call-out support when required.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, managers, and clients to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications & Person Specification:
- Fire & Security Apprenticeship (or recognised equivalent)
- City & Guilds Part 3 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognised equivalent
- Health and Safety Training
- Industry experience with similar maintenance duties including fault diagnosis, rectification and preventative tasks
- Fully experienced in fire alarms and have the certification to evidence this
- Experience in IT & Networking
- Supervisory experience for future development
