Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be working with a market leading business in their search for a Group Financial Controller to join the business. This role is based in North Lanarkshire and will manage a small team of direct reports. Our client is seeking an experienced financial leader with a background in audit being highly desirable. Full ICAS/ACCA/CIMA qualification is essential.
As a key member of the executive team, the Group Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of the organisation. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will support the development and implementation of robust financial strategies to drive continued success and expansion.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee all financial operations across the group, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Develop and implement robust financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability goals.
- Lead the preparation and analysis of consolidated financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize financial efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to provide actionable insights and recommendations for decision-making.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, reporting, and systems.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and systems.
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ICAS, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.
- The ideal candidate will come from an audit background though this isn’t essential.
- Proven experience in a complex, multi-entity environment.
