We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Data Analytics to lead our internal data analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and implementing data strategies, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in team and stakeholder management. This role is pivotal in driving our data initiatives and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
This role is for a dynamic and enthusiastic person who enjoys working in a fast paced, multidiscipline team. He/she will be a solid team player, have excellent communication skills and will be technically experienced. Our mission is to prove that IT can deliver real benefits to Version 1’s business. This will be achieved through the continued transformation of process, systems and data management enabling our business to continue to scale at pace.
There will be a substantial element of project work associated with this role where the successful candidate will work closely with our Business Systems team to drive data quality and improvements through the introduction of standards, best in class data practices and a continued focus in AI/ML technologies. The successful candidate will manage and act as the liaison between business stakeholders and the technical delivery teams.

- Develop and Implement Data Strategy: Collaborate with business stakeholders to create and execute a comprehensive data strategy that supports organizational goals.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the data analytics team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure effective communication and delivery of data solutions.
- Microsoft Technologies: Utilize Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, to enhance data analytics capabilities.
- AI and ML: Apply knowledge and experience in AI and ML principles and technologies to drive innovative data solutions.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Oversee the analysis of complex data sets and the creation of insightful reports and presentations.
- Prioritization and Problem Solving: Demonstrate excellent prioritization skills and a solution-oriented approach to address business challenges.
