For Companies Clinical Pharmacist
Salary: £48,000 to £52,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full time – Monday to Friday, flexible shift pattern
Our client is looking for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join its busy team. You will provide the team with expert clinical leadership and direction so that pharmaceutical care is safe, effective, and person-centred.
Role
- Support the pharmacy department to deliver an excellent medicine management service
- Supervising the procurement, preparation, dispensing and distribution of medicines.
- Provide pharmaceutical expertise and input to the care of the patients within the Hospital
- Facilitate the daily running of the pharmacy department,
- Provide a safe and effective medicines management service to all patients, staff, consultants and customers.
- Provide clinical input with respect to medicines to all patients.
- Ensure accurate and timely charging.
- Ensure compliance with all appropriate regulatory, professional and best practice frameworks.
Qualifications
- Degree in Pharmacy
- Registration as a Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (any existing or pending Fitness to Practice issues must be declared on application)
- Postgraduate Diploma relevant to hospital pharmacy practice is desirable but not essential
- Post registration experience of 2-3 years
