The key to Collegiate’s rapid growth has been their focus on delivering excellence in all areas and working as a collaborative and supportive team. They are looking for a customer-focused and passionate leader to manage Athena Hall, which is Collegiate’s only site based in Ipswich. Reporting to the Head of Operations, the General Manager will have full responsibility for the property.

  • You will achieve full occupancy for the accommodation each academic year.
  • Deliver an exceptional experience to all customers throughout the sales process and beyond.
  • You will identify and build relationships with universities/student unions and other relevant organisations within Ipswich.
  • The General Manager will assist the site operations team with day-to-day management of the property to ensure a high level of customer service is provided to the students at all times.

The successful candidate will possess a track record in managing the operations across a comparable environment, ideally in student accommodation, hospitality, retail or leisure. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong commercial ability. The role will suit individuals with a high level of credibility, team leadership and the capability to deliver excellence.
