Location: Essex

Salary: £19-£20 per hour

Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (Paid 1-hour lunch break)

My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Day Electrician to join our dynamic team at our site in Essex. If you're passionate about electrical systems, problem-solving, and making a real impact in an industrial environment, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Electrical Installations & Maintenance: Support site operations with electrical installations and ensure the smooth running of electrical supplies.
  • System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair malfunctioning apparatus, including LV circuits, 3-phase motors, and industrial control systems.
  • Safety Leadership: Maintain a strong focus on safety for yourself and others, adhering to our rigorous standards.
  • Equipment Management: Read and interpret electrical drawings to maintain and troubleshoot systems effectively.
  • Bonus Opportunities: Knowledge of building MCC panels is a plus!

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: 18th Edition Certification (BS7671:2018). NVQ Level 3 in Electro Technical Services or a BTEC National Certificate in Electrical Engineering. (Optional but advantageous) City & Guilds Electrical qualifications.
  • Skills & Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on electrical experience in an industrial setting. Solid understanding of PLCs, 3-phase motors, and fault-finding techniques. Familiarity with electrical drawings and testing equipment.
