Role Summary HG are recruiting for an experienced Press Braker Operator based in Burnley. The idea person will be required to skilfully bend, and shape metal parts to meet precise specifications. You will also have a few years of experience, familiarity with Amada machines, and a working knowledge of CNC press brake operations. If so, we want to hear from you! Salary – £28,3921 – £32,448 (Depending on experience). Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am – 4.30pm Friday’s 8am – 2pm. 39 hour per week. The Role: Operate and program CNC press brake machines to bend metal parts according to design specifications. Set up and maintain Amada press brake equipment, making adjustments to ensure optimal performance and product quality. Execute bending tasks as required to achieve high-quality results. Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards. Read and interpret cad / cam technical drawings to produce accurate results. Collaborate with the production team to improve processes and ensure efficiency. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, following all health and safety guidelines. Requirements: Minimum of a few years’ experience operating CNC press brake machines, preferably with Amada equipment. Strong knowledge of press brake setup, operation, and programming. Basic knowledge of metalworking, including bending metal using a press brake. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings. Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Physically fit to be able to load and unload the machine.
