Position 1 Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading malting company seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment, ensuring optimal efficiency, safety, and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform corrective and preventive electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Repair production, processing, and utility equipment.
- Support new equipment installation.
- Document repairs and maintenance activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (BOPEX).
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Experience in malting/milling or heavy industrial environments.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot faults.
- Knowledge of PLCs, inverters, and motor/wiring diagnostics.
- Electrical installation experience with relevant qualifications.
- Happy to participate within the on-call rota when required.
Benefits:
