This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing and innovative manufacturer! The position will play a vital role ensuring site and equipment maintenance and reliability as well as continually improving processes.

You will be working on production and operational equipment as well as site infrastructure through planned and reactive maintenance. The position requires an engineer with strong technical ability and a hands on approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete planned and reactive maintenance adhering to the relevant H&S requirements.
  • Provide technical support to machine operators improving their understanding of the safe and efficient use of machinery.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain site infrastructure ensuring everything meets operational requirements.
  • Ability to resolve any issues quickly and effectively.
Experience Required
  • Time served mechanical or electrical maintenance engineer with strong technical knowledge.
  • HNC or NVQ Qualified in either electrical or mechanical.
  • At least 3 years in a food or FMCG environment.
  • Able to use and manage CMMS.
  • Strong understanding of modern maintenance methods and techniques.
  • Knowledge and familiarity of food safety and H&S regulations.
