The role of the Estimator – Roofing Systems will involve:
- Promoting a high quality range of roofing projects such as: liquid coatings, reinforced bitumen membranes, green roofs, hot melt and tiling
- Reviewing tender enquiries to gain an understanding of project requirements
- Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information required
- Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain competitive prices
- Carrying out site surveys as and when required
- Producing formal quotations to clients
- Keeping good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
- Building and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors
- Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met
- Estimating for projects ranging in value from £100k - £3m
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Roofing Systems with:
- Estimating experience within the construction industry working for a subcontractor
- Experience within the roofing market sector with a bias towards commercial flat roofing systems
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong numerical skills
- Full UK driving license
- IT literate (Microsoft Office, particularly savvy in Excel)
- Confident and articulate individual
