Main purpose of the role
We have an extensive programme of projects that support teaching and research and transform the student and staff experience through IT-enabled business change. You will work with service owners and users to gain a detailed understanding of business problems and the changes required to improve business processes and systems. You will develop and apply new tools and techniques and coach others to enable them to use these effectively. The successful delivery of our projects requires business analysts to lead change and support all aspects of the project lifecycle where IT is a major component. You will have the support and guidance of our Senior Business Analysts and Project Managers.
All staff share responsibility for and contribute to the success of the overall service. We want you to contribute to service improvement, working in an environment of mutual respect and openness. We strongly encourage all staff to engage in a process of continual review - both of their own work and that of colleagues; making suggestions for change to ensure that we continue to develop and enhance our services to meet the requirements of all our users.
You may or may not already be working as a Business Analyst, but will be motivated to learn new skills and have transferable skills in order to carry out your responsibilities.
Skills, Experience & Qualification needed
- Experience/knowledge of Business Analysis, practice, process and techniques in a current or previous position.
- Knowledge of agile project management and development practices.
- Confidence in navigating stakeholders, complex challenges with dedication, passion and a growth mindset.
- Comfortable working with change and proactive in bringing people on the journey.
Salary: Up to £48,000 Dependant upon Experience + Bonus & Benefits
