Who are we looking for?
Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced finance environment? We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our busy finance department.
You will be required to accurately process all day-to-day finance information including responding to queries and reconciling accounts. Ensure that all payments and income are recorded correctly and promptly. The role will encompass purchase ledger tasks.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in Purchase Ledger/Finance experience is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent data entry skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Duties and Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:
- Communication: Deliver effective communication, both internally with staff and externally with suppliers, ensuring all queries are dealt with efficiently and professionally.
- Data Processing: Process large volumes of financial data accurately and quickly, maintaining a high standard of work at all times.
- Problem Solving: Handle queries, using your own initiative to resolve issues but also knowing when to ask for support from the team.
- Attitude: Maintain a polite, patient, and ‘can-do’ attitude, particularly when managing urgent or challenging situations.
- Meeting Deadlines: Work efficiently to meet weekly and month-end deadlines, ensuring all tasks are completed in a busy accounts environment.
