Waiters on the events floor at The Ned are the smiling faces looking after the guests in any of our function rooms, set in the bank’s former grand meeting rooms on our gorgeous 6th floor events space. Each event we host is different, so you’ll be delivering the perfect tailored service for your guests - whether that’s a wedding, a business meeting, a corporate celebration, or anything in between.
Reporting into Events Operations leadership team and as the friendly face of the guest experience you will:
- Provide outstanding hospitality to our guests, tailoring your service to deliver the exceptional experiences that The Ned is known for.
- Using your unrivalled knowledge of our menus, you’ll answer all guests queries and provide recommendations to make sure every guest receives the perfect meal.
- Set up and tear down each event from start to finish, taking care of our grade I listed venue.
- Support and lead the agency team to help them deliver the level of service and standards that our event guests will expect.
- Assist the following team with preparing linen, glassware, silver etc for upcoming events.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, protecting our guests, your teammates, and our agency helpers from any possible harm.
- Be flexible as our events space can be busy Monday to Sunday with late finishing times; shifts will vary, but are mainly in the afternoons and evenings.
