Orion are partnered with an innovative engineering business who are looking to recruit a hands-on Mechanical Fitter to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone practical and mechanically minded, including junior candidates with experience tinkering with cars or hands-on hobbies.

Mechanical Fitter Responsibilities:
- Installing ancillary equipment.
- Working with both basic hand-pump systems and 3-phase electrical installations
- Basic soldering and wire assembly
- Reading and working from wiring diagrams
- Supporting the electrical and mechanical build of systems
Mechanical Fitter Experience Required:
- Comfortable using a range of hand tools (spanners, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.)
- Ideally have your own tools (a staff loan is available to help with this if needed)
- Background in plumbing, mechanics, or electrical work is beneficial
- Experience with wiring would be a significant advantage
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams is a plus
