Are you looking for a varied role with door-to-door overtime, ongoing training and a clear scope to progress technically? Are you an Engineer with knowledge of motors, turbines or generators, who has previously commissioned or 'set up' some sort of production machinery?

As a go-to Commissioning Engineer, you will set up brand new systems on site, carrying out relevant checks to ensure they are fully functional. This would include flow meters, controllers, inverters, speed drives etc, whilst also diagnosing any mechanical setup issues encountered. The role requires the flexibility to stay away from home during the week, but you will be compensated with door-to-door overtime and will be back for the weekend.

DUTIES
  • Commission new generator / engine systems
  • Verify alignment and mechanical installation, with fault finding and rectification
  • Configure control interfaces with site, switchgear, and ancillary equipment
PERSON
  • Understanding of either power plant, generators, turbines or large engines
  • Knowledge of PLC Ladder Logic, or some level of electrical competency
  • Flexibility to travel and stay away Monday - Friday throughout the UK
