Service Charge Accountant

At KFH, we are seeking a Service Charge Accountant to join our Block and Portfolio Management Accounts team . Are you an experienced Client Accounts Manager or in a similar role? Do you have a proven track record in effectively managing a client portfolio and providing excellent accounting services? Do you excel at building strong relationships with clients and colleagues? We offer a range of services including block management, commercial, residential, and financial services. You will be responsible for managing a client portfolio from start to finish and will report to the Senior Portfolio Accountant & Portfolio Account Director.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the preparation of annual service charge budgets and ten-year maintenance plans
• Attending client meetings as required
• Checking and authorizing supplier invoices daily
• Reconciling quarterly financial reports and balances for clients/properties
• Assisting with the preparation of P11d forms for employees
• Preparing ground rent reports and managing fund transfers
• Generating monthly client reports, including bespoke Excel reports
• Conducting year-end procedures, including preparing trial balances, income & expenditure reports, and section 20b notices

As a Service Charge Accountant, you will play a vital role in client retention by fostering long-term relationships.
