As a Business Analyst, you will be part of a team working to deliver value for our customers. You may be part of a transformation project, working with business stakeholders to define their vision and requirements whilst working with technical colleagues to develop and deliver the solution. You may be part of projects which look to streamline and improve processes. As a Business Analyst with more experience, you will drive pieces of work and help lead teams across complex transformation projects. You may work as a product owner to help deliver digital products, working with business and technical colleagues. The BA has the primary responsibility to gather, analyze, document, and validate the needs of the business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience with Agile methodology, writing user stories, managing scrum calls, prioritizing backlog, etc.
- The Business Analyst serves as the principal conduit for managing system requirements between the business and the software development team throughout the duration of a project.
- Elicit business requirements from business users and subject matter experts.
- Capture and document clear business requirements in BDD format.
Skills and Behaviors:
- Attention to detail with high level of accuracy.
- Ability to take strategic direction from executive management; Initiative.
- Ability to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance.
- Technical skills including Open API (Swagger or other) or microservice architecture are required.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a business analyst role.
- Experience owning features across the entire lifecycle (shaping to live service).
- Extensive experience of writing user stories.
- Experience of both functional and non-functional elements within a delivery.
- Proven record using AzureDevOps tool.
- Demonstrate excellent communication working with key stakeholders on the Scrum Team.
- Ability to influence Roadmap decisions with management.
- Knowledge of the subsurface domain (Subsurface & Wells), Data and Business Requirements.
- Proactive working style, looking for and embracing innovation.
- Have a very good understanding of back-end, web and mobile app technology.
