Undertake research with market teams to understand segmentation, user payment needs, market practices and behaviours. Support the development of the overall goals and commercialisation strategy to ensure Visa's success in digital payments and authentication across our suite of digital products and solutions. Deliver commercial and product initiatives required to execute the commercial strategy for growth and delivering greater value for Visa's clients. Evaluate product related regulatory, legal and operational risks and implement mitigations required. Create and apply best practices to create commercial constructs, terms, agreements and pricing structures. Prioritise initiatives based on an understanding of client needs gathered from client facing teams, together with an assessment of likely benefit to Visa. Work with global and local product development teams to develop a localized view of products and to ensure everything is in place for products to be deployed and scaled in our region. Create compelling client facing market collateral for engaging issuers, payment service providers and acquirers on e-commerce centred on UX for key use cases and solutions. Work with local product development and client facing teams to develop and execute the go to market approach for our key digital initiatives including pilot framework and strategy, launch communications plan and execution framework. Develop and disseminate materials to educate internal and external stakeholders on new product offerings. Leverage learnings across product launches to develop a Go-To-Market Playbook. Actively monitor commercial performance of the product portfolio and determine any remedial actions required. Where needed, define market requirements through UX centred design for e-commerce/CNP digital solutions and provide feedback to global product teams.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

  • Experience in product commercial management in particular in e-commerce solutions working with global and EU payment solution providers, merchants, big-tech, issuers and acquirers.
  • Advanced understanding of e-commerce payment solutions for merchants.
  • Ability to articulate and discuss the value of authentication to the e-commerce payment ecosystem.
  • Sound knowledge of how to leverage Visa Secure to reduce fraud, reduce transaction abandonment, improve UX and increase approvals.
  • Passionate about UX centred design, API products, consumer and merchant experience with a focus on driving product adoption, usage rates, and conversion.
  • Data and insights driven to generate a well-rounded view on taking product to market.
  • Industry knowledge of fintechs, big-tech, PSPs is a must.
  • Curious and inquisitive problem solver - thrives in challenging problems.
  • Rigorous thinker, ability to transpose business and technical understanding to relevant market inputs with sales and product teams within Visa as well as with external client discussions - leading to commercial & revenue opportunities.
  • Understand how to scale and distribute products/services within a technology company.
  • Ownership and driving impact are important aspects to the role, must have the mindset to fully understand and quickly overcome commercial, technical, industry and internal challenges to succeed.
  • Strong ability to progress solutions and enhancements with urgency and prioritised focus for commercial and strategic benefits for our customers and Visa.
  • Understanding of the European regulatory landscape affecting e-commerce payments.
