I am seeking a Quantity Surveyor who has completed either a BSc in Quantity Surveying or an MSc in Quantity Surveying (RICS accredited) ideally with at least two years of QS experience gained either post-graduation or during your degree, or you may already be MRICS qualified. You will have the opportunity to join a team working on a good range of projects for new build apartment blocks, schools, colleges in the private and public sectors, art galleries, music studios, and more. My client is based in the London SE1 area.
My client is a busy and friendly firm of construction consultants providing Quantity Surveying / Cost Management and some project management services. They work on both new build and refurbishment projects across several sectors. They have two UK offices and provide good APC support and CPD.
You will be a Quantity Surveyor who has completed your BSc in Quantity Surveying or the MSc in Quantity Surveying, which must be RICS accredited from a known university. You will need at least 2 years or more experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in the UK with either another firm of PQS or possibly with a main contractor. This could have been done either post-graduation or during a year out. You should be keen to join a firm of PQS to do both pre and post contract work. If you are not yet chartered, you should be keen to work towards becoming chartered with the RICS or you may already be MRICS qualified. You must have excellent English, both written and spoken.
Salary is negotiable around £35,000 to £60,000 (if chartered) per annum plus RICS fees, pension, discretionary bonus, and APC training.
