Ashley Kate HR are excited to be partnering with our well established manufacturing and distribution client in Bedford, as they recruit for a HR Manager to join them. Our client is a small business, with a global presence and a real passion for their products, sustainability and the environment.
The HR Manager will be responsible for the overall HR function for the business. You will manage a generalist remit, review and develop policies & processes, report on HR metrics and attend meetings with the senior leadership team, manage appraisals, coach and advise management on process, recruitment & onboarding, and employee relations.
We seek a candidate who is passionate about learning & development to develop training within the business, in particular focusing on leadership development. You will have experience in embedding a positive working culture with a passion for engagement, who can instil the company's strong people values.
About you- Proven background working at a generalist HR Manager essential
- Stand alone experience within an SME essential
- Experience of working within a private sector, ideally a manufacturing/distribution/warehouse environment
- CIPD qualified or working towards
- Strong UK Employment Law Knowledge
- Exceptional at building relationships, communication & excellent leadership skills
