THE ROLE:
- Design and development of special purpose equipment and machinery for liquid-based process applications.
- Utilising both 3D and 2D software you will support new product development and modification projects.
- Design and development of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with departmental objectives.
- Design functionality testing, both simulation and physical.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including design files and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise product quality and cost efficiency.
THE CANDIDATE:
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Solidworks ideally, but open).
- Experience in mechanical design and strong understanding of engineering drawings.
- Preferable experience of designing pipework and liquid process-based systems (water / chemical).
- Degree / HNC + in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years industrial experience.
HOURS: 40 hours per week (4 x 10 hours or 5 x 8 hours). Hybrid working: 1 day at home (so 3 days in with a 4-day week).
