As a Nuclear Engineer, you will join a team in Derby/Warrington to support our activities within the Nuclear Sector. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Support design activities for Reactor and Core Systems, progressing from Final Concept Definition (FCD) through to the early stages of Detailed Design.
- Take ownership of cross-functional tasks that contribute to the continuous improvement of system design processes and procedures across the organisation.
- Engage regularly with key design stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and adherence to governance processes, including gated design reviews, definition reviews, and decision reviews.
- Develop comprehensive design documentation, including System Design Descriptions, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), Functional Bill of Materials, Requirement Definitions, Decision Records, and other essential design materials.

- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and requirements management.
- Knowledge of Pressurised Water Reactor (PWR) operating principles.
- Preferably some familiarity with reactor core physics.
