We are currently partnering with a Local Government based in East London, who are recruiting for a Housing Litigation Lawyer to join their growing team on a temporary basis. This is a full-time position with a negotiable salary based on experience and the start date is c. 24th of February 2025. Court attendance once a week is required for this role. This role centers on managing a caseload of Housing Litigation issues.

However, the below experience is essential:

  • Temporary accommodation disrepair and possession
  • Homelessness
  • Autonomously dealing with judicial reviews

Skills, knowledge, and expertise required:

  • Must have Local Government experience
  • A current practicing certificate (either as a Barrister, Solicitor, or Legal Executive)

Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
