Your role

Are you known for your project management, general marketing, communication (both verbal and written), organizational and analytical skills? This role is ideal for someone who is interested in both the analytical and creative sides of marketing and is very much a hybrid role between tech/analytics and marketing.

We are looking for someone to:

  • run our global campaigns for the external surveys that we participate in throughout the year
  • own and drive relationships with multiple stakeholder teams as part of managing survey campaigns, including but not limited to: technology teams to establish and run workflows that produce marketing collateral; senior management in multiple departments to define campaign strategy; social media and video teams to market across multiple channels; and more
  • complete data and reporting requests for senior management at the firm
  • review campaign performance data to generate quantitative and qualitative campaign reports, improve campaign processes, and generate testing ideas
  • be a key liaison with Extel for Research; liaise with them on a regular basis and be the conduit for correspondence with UBS
  • work on other general marketing projects, such as Social Media, video, newsletter, large-scale reporting, internal communications
  • create and execute key marketing test ideas (A/B, 10/10/80) to shape future marketing strategies

Your team

As a member of the Global Research Marketing team in London, collaborating with our team members in New York and Hong Kong, you will be a key part of the Global Research Platform. Your primary responsibility will be driving and implementing global campaigns for the surveys that Research participates in (Extel, Peter Lee etc.). Our marketing efforts increase client awareness of our analysts, strategists, economists, and the content they produce, to succeed in the surveys and differentiate UBS Research from competitors. UBS Global Research has been a Top-3 Equity research firm for eight years, and the campaign management role is crucial to this success.

Your expertise

You have:

  • a minimum of 5+ years of project management experience, preferably within a marketing team; experience in technology and/or the financial services industry is helpful
  • a university degree: (B.S. in Computer Science/Technology/Information systems is preferred, but not required)
  • intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel (functions, pivot tables, charts) and Power Point skills are required
  • a strong presence with the ability to quickly gain the trust of senior leaders
  • meticulous attention to detail and ability to check your own work
  • strong analytical skills
  • demonstrable success working on complex initiatives, handling multiple projects of various sizes simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Experience using data analytical/automation software (i.e. Tableau, Alteryx, Jupyter) is preferred.

  • strong written and verbal communicator, comfortable interacting and developing relationships with colleagues at all levels globally
