We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Highways Maintenance clients. The role is based near Camden and comes with a salary up to £55,000 depending on experience.
Responsibilities for Assistant Project Manager:
- Achieve annual financial targets as set by the line manager.
- Develop, implement, and monitor processes and procedures that achieve client and business key performance indicators.
- Promote safe working practices in accordance with company Health & Safety Policy, demonstrating a commitment to zero incidents.
- Manage projects involving footpath, footway, earthworks, park assets, highways, and infrastructure construction.
- Support Clients’ objectives and maintain strong relationships founded on trust and integrity.
- Effectively support the line manager in the performance and development of a team to meet and exceed company and local business objectives.
- Adhere to corporate processes, policies, and procedures, ensuring a consistent approach to delivery at all times.
- Drive innovation and best practice across projects, particularly in park asset design and earthworks processes.
- Value and promote a culture of continual improvement while complying with Business Management System policies and procedures.
Requirements for Assistant Manager:
- Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline, project management, or surveying.
- Experience in NEC Contract Administration or Project Management, including projects involving footpaths, footways, earthworks, park assets, highways, or infrastructure construction.
- Proficiency in financial reporting of project progress detailing cost, value, and turnover.
- Working towards NEC Project Manager accreditation or equivalent.
- Working towards Associate or full membership of an appropriate professional institution.
