Founded in 2004, Intex Facades has successfully completed over 300 SFS and Rainscreen Cladding projects nationwide. We are currently looking for a Telehandler/Labourer to work on a busy construction site based in Leamington Spa. Applicants must hold valid telehandler operator certification or license and have previous experience working on a construction site.
As a Telehandler Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction projects. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating telehandlers to lift, move, and stack materials as needed. The role is a temporary position.
Duties:
- Operate telehandlers safely and efficiently to transport materials and equipment on the job site.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Stack and store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper organisation and safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct daily inspections of the telehandler to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Labouring duties as required.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
Essential requirements:
- Valid telehandler operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating telehandlers in a construction environment.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to heavy machinery operation.
Job Details:
- Location: Leamington Spa.
- Start Date: 28th April.
- Rates: Day rates £160 per day (£20 per hour).
- Duration: Ongoing work for the right individuals.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 (weekends may be required by prior arrangement).
